When SF Studios closed down in 2000, I took the opportunity to begin an internship with my local Public Access station which opened the door a bit wider to PHOTOGRAPHY and video production as well as Photoshop and digital editing techniques. This allowed for a professional creative outlet beyond the seasonal aspects of the Haunt industry.
The art of Special FX make up and the Horror genre have always been one of my greatest passions. From a very early age, I knew without any doubt this was something I had to do. There really were no schools that taught the craft back in those days, so this required a lot of experimentation, trial and error and watching as many horror films as possible and obsessing over the work of pioneers in the field such as Lon Chaney, Dick Smith and so many others, though it was the work of Tom Savini on George Romero's "Dawn Of The Dead" and "Creepshow" that finally set me on my creative path to where I am today.
Flash forward to 2020 when the weight of circumstances set me on a path that would eventually lead down to North Carolina, where I had the serendipitous occasion to connect with the amazing crew fromThe Haunted Farm in Hendersonville, who were kind enough to bring me on board to manage their make up department for 2023 and allow me to unleash my demented imagination on unsuspecting patrons for their 13th season.
Regretfully, we lost the following 2024 Haunt season due to storm damage from Hurricane Helene, however, there are BIG CHANGES coming and I am thrilled to announce that I will continue to provide scares and screams at the Farm, while also designing and creating custom props, artwork and items for sale in their BRAND NEW merch shop/gift store and gallery.

I began my professional career in the Haunted Attraction industry in the early 1990's, when I took an entry level position at Stage Fright Studios in Watertown, CT. This would prove invaluable to me over the next several years as I gained hands on training in many different aspects of prop building, mold making and set design.
